Chandra is a writer, teacher, and mother of four who lives across the street from the woods and keeps a close eye on them at all times.

Chandra’s works have been shortlisted for the Times/Chicken House publishing contest and the Prix Aurora Award for Best Short Story. She is a two time winner of Canada Council for the Arts grants.

Her short works can be found in anthologies from Prairie Soul Press (2022) and Tyche Books (2023), and is featured in Year’s Best Canadian Fantasy and Science Fiction: Volume Two.
